Why writing is good for your mental health

We live through life mostly in autopilot (maybe except during the pandemic lockdowns). We hardly have the time to reflect on what’s going in our mind, our bodies, and emotions. Resulting in a sense of disconnection. Being able to have the time to write is indeed a luxury. It’s a ‘me’ time to connect between the mind, body, and the emotions. A private communion. A kind of meditation. A mental health checkup. Try and do it more often. You will be surprised at how much your writing can reveal about yourself, and the state of your mental health.
